The UK has its very own Scouting newsgroup called uk.rec.scouting which is open to anyone on the internet to discuss matters relevant to all and any Scouting in the UK.
The uk.rec.scouting FAQ (which stands for "Frequently Asked Questions") is a document that briefly explains what this newsgroup is all about, answers "frequently asked questions", and gives guidelines on the newsgroup's rules and etiquette (known as 'netiquette'). It is good netiquette to read a newsgroup's FAQ before posting any messages to it.
Scouting in the UK can sometimes be a minefield of abbreviations and acronyms,
particularly if you're just starting out.
If you are having problems telling your ADC(LT) apart from your DCSL then...
