discussion of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting around the world.
- rec.scouting.issues [web] For the discussion
of issues in Scouting (eg, co-ed Scouting, accepting homosexuals in Scouting,
and God in the Scout Promise - often called the 3 Gs). This group is mainly
USA dominated.
- rec.scouting.misc [web] Not a true miscellaneous
group, but one meant for postings that do not fit into any of the other rec.scouting.*
newsgroups and are of interest to an international readership.
- rec.scouting.usa [web] Dedicated to the discussion
of Scouting in the USA. This is mainly for the Boy Scouts of America (BSA),
although it is also available for the American Girl Scouts (GSUSA) and the
many other associated organisation.
